US tax returns, federal and state.

Every US company files at least one federal return and, almost always, one or more state returns. We prepare and file the ones for the company and, where needed, for the Italian owners with US-source income.

What it covers

Federal return

The form required for the company legal form: gathering the accounting data, calculating the tax due, filing on time and handling extensions when they are needed.

State returns

One return for every state where the company has a taxable presence, applying each state own rules for apportioning income.

Sales tax and local taxes

Registrations, periodic filings and payments of sales tax wherever the activity triggers it, counties and municipalities included.

Owner positions

Personal returns for Italian owners and directors with US income, coordinated with the Italian return so the same tax is not paid twice.

US deadlines do not wait for the Italian year-end.

The US tax calendar does not line up with the Italian one: the first deadlines arrive while the Italian financial statements are still open, and an extension moves the filing date, not the payment.

That is why we work on the accounting data all year instead of chasing it just before the deadline: when filing time comes the numbers are already there, and your Italian accountant knows in advance what to expect.
